There is a reason yoga is becoming more + more trendy. It’s not because being bendy is “cool.” It’s because you have the potential to change your own life through yoga. Yoga can help you to live a happier, more fulfilled life. Yoga translates to union. Union of the mind with the breath + body. Through uniting yourself, you begin to unite with the world. It turns into so much more then just being able to touch your toes.
Brianna found yoga during her teen years. As a dancer, the poses came a bit easier to her, but the words teachers chose to say between the poses is what really struck her heart. The kind words of acceptance, nonviolence, freedom, and grace. Yoga was a big part of what helped her gain control over herself, her thoughts + her life in her early 20s.
Brianna completed her 200 hour YTT at Yoga Nanda, studied neuroscience of healing with Dr. Sonia Sequiera, and continues to explore her passion for health and wellness. She’s devoted to diving deeper into yoga philosophy and anatomy to share with others what helped her so greatly. She wishes to help her students find a place in themselves in which yoga allowed her to discover within herself. A place of playfulness, confidence, acceptance, and peacefulness. Classes with Brianna focus on the mindset and fluid movement. Always being a student of the practice, she is deeply grateful for the loving wisdom her teachers have and continue to share with her.
She now works privately with clients to help them achieve a better state of wellness by exploring techniques in breath, movement, and meditation. Her weekly group classes are designed to explore breathing techniques, stretches + poses, guided meditations, and fun playlists! Levels of classes vary.
There is a huge gap in our culture today: we don’t teach people how to take care of themselves- which I fell victim to many years of my life. It is such an important thing to learn but it becomes difficult when you have to first, unlearn the toxic patterns you’ve been practicing for years. Then, you can begin to introduce new ways of thinking + new ways of living into your existence. My mission is to teach people how to self-care + self-understand the body and mind through the practices and teachings of yoga that have helped me away from dark places, self-sabotage and self-destruction.
