MOVEMENT AND MEDITATION
Before the start of this meditation we add a little bit of movement to aide the body in sitting still for longer. In this meditation we are practicing our skill of redirecting our thoughts using imagery. Our meditations become more and more powerful as we practice them. Use this one any time during the day to find a calmer state and perspective.
Find a comfortable seat, making sure the spine is long. If you find it hard to sit up tall for periods of time or have back issues, I invite you to listen to this meditation lying on your back. While listening to this meditation see if you can find stillness (unless instructed to move). Mostly in your body, but in your thoughts too. If you find the mind is thinking about something completely different, just smile and redirect your focus back to the sound of my voice.
HAVE PATIENCE
Meditating is a practice. Have patience with yourself especially if you are just starting in this beautiful meditation practice. I hope you stick with it! The effects of meditation can truly be found no where else. The answer is with in you and it always has been. It’s a matter of learning to sit still and stay focused so we can move closer and closer to that state of answers, beauty and knowledge.
Namaste y’all ??
